During normal operation no light will be visible on the Cloud Beacon, with the exception of battery status lights. The battery status lights only show while the Cloud Beacon is not connected with the kontakt.io cloud, by default this will happen every 5 minutes (Data Send Interval) and could take several seconds to complete.
The LED shows configuration and error status.
After Resetting the Cloud Beacon, the LED will glow cyan for a brief period.
When the Cloud Beacon is in Configuration Mode, the LED will pulse cyan if it has a current configuration. If there is no existing configuration, it will pulse blue.
When the Cloud Beacon is processing a firmware update, the LED will glow blue while the update is in progress.
When the Cloud Beacon enters Firmware Update Mode, the LED will glow cyan and then change to light-green for a brief period.
Note: Battery status lights do not display while your Cloud Beacon is in scanning mode.
Orange - Device is charging

Green - Device is fully charged
The fully charged light is only displayed while the Beacon is connected to a power supply. Note: Once the Cloud Beacon is disconnected from the power source, the light will not extinguish until the next scan interval. This could be several minutes.
Red, Blue, Red, Pink - Device is unable to connect to Access point.
If this happens after applying the network configuration to your Cloud Beacon (as described in our Quickstart process), then it is probably a problem with the network configuration you have entered: Password, Network name or authentication. Check that the network configuration you have entered is correct and if necessary repeat the configuration process.
In normal operation, this sequence may happen from time to time especially in environments with many WiFi networks.
Red, Red, Red, Pink - Device cannot download configuration from the cloud
Device is unable to retrieve the configuration from the kontakt.io cloud.
If this error occurs after you have set or modified your Cloud Beacon configuration, then your API key may be incorrect. Please check your API key and reapply the configuration (as described in our Quickstart process).
Blue, Red, Red, Pink - DHCP configuration error
Device requires DHCP to get a local ip address. This error means that it is unable to get IP address from the Network. Check that your local access point is configured for DHCP.
Note: If you experience a DHCP configuration error, it's likely this will be followed by a Time synchronization error. Time sync will fail if the Cloud Beacon cannot connect with the internet.
Blue, Blue, Red, Pink - Time synchronization error
In order to operate properly the device needs the current time. This error means that it was not possible to get time from the internet. Device will retry to get time.
If this error persists, then reset the device which may resolve the problem.
Note: Before reporting a Time synchronization error to support, please confirm that you are not seeing a DHCP error, followed by a Time synchronization error.
Red - Wifi hardware error
The device wifi module has malfunctioned. Try resetting the Cloud Beacon - if the sequence persists, the device must be returned.
Red, Pink - Self check failed
Device detected errors during self check. Try resetting the Cloud Beacon - if the sequence persists, the device must be returned.
Red, Red, Pink - Configuration corrupted
Reset the Cloud Beacon and repeat the configuration process.
Red, Red, Red, Blue, Pink - Bluetooth module error
Try resetting the Cloud Beacon - if the sequence persists, the device must be returned.
