The Portal Beam uses nine different sensors: a thermal camera for occupancy and people counting, temperature, humidity, air quality, light, smoke detection, infrared beaconing, RSSI fingerprinting, and iBeacon.
One of the main features is providing to users information about current quality of the air. We are measuring below levels of gas to provide accurate and reliable value.
Volatile Organic Compounds
Below values should be considered in terms or measuring quality of the air:
Please note that value which comes from Portal Beam is a sum of all gathered data and will be returned as one outcome in range between 0-255. There is no possibility to get value for each of measured gas levels separately.
You can setup air quality probing interval using Kio Cloud platform- https://cloud.kontakt.io/
Device Management > Beacons> 'your PB' > sensors:
Alternatively it may be changed using API call and airQualityInterval value:
It is recommended to use values which are not less then one minute for air quality measurement interval.
