It's Kontakt.io's cloud-based platform. It's where your Kontakt.io devices send their data to and download configuration data from.
Device Management: manage your devices' configuration, integrations with external gateway providers, and device sharing device permissions.
Smart Location: configure and manage your Kontakt.io device locations and view real-time location, occupancy, and telemetry data, and more.
Users: manage who has access to your Kio Cloud account.
It's also where you'll find your API Key that's required to integrate with our APIs and SDKs.
Policy Foundry: manage when and how notifications are sent when a policy excursion event occurs.
The Kontakt.io Panel cloud platform is our legacy platform. Kio Cloud is our current, supported platform that delivers the latest Kontakt.io features and capabilities.

When your Kontakt.io order arrives at your facility, you'll need to:
Add the order's devices to your Kio Cloud account. You'll provide your Kontakt.io Order ID, which is a one-time use code.
If you don't have a Kio Cloud account, you'll need to create one first.
Set up your Kio Cloud Smart Location - required for location and occupancy-based services.
Set up and install your Kontakt.io devices. This step does vary by each device model.
When all steps are complete, you'll be ready to start your Kontakt.io IoT journey!
