The first step to deploy your Portal Beams is to create a Kio Cloud account and add the Portal Beams to your account. When these steps are complete, the next step is Smart Location setup.
Already have a Kio Cloud account? If yes, be sure to only add the devices to your Kio Cloud account. Your email address can only be associated to one Kio Cloud account.
From your web browser, go to https://cloud.kontakt.io/register.
From the Registration form, enter your email and profile information > select CREATE ACCOUNT.
Check your Inbox for the Kontakat.io account activation email and verify your account.
It may take a few minutes for the email to arrive in your Inbox. If you did not receive the email, please contact us at email@example.com.
When you receive an order from Kontatk.io, the first step is to add the devices to your Kio Cloud account.
Please do not add devices until you've received the shipment from Kontakt.io.
You'll need your Kontatk.io Order ID. You can find it on the Quick Start Guide card included in the order's package and in your order and shipment confirmation emails.
Sign into Kio Cloud > from your Launchpad, select Add Devices
Enter your Kontakt.io Order ID (it's case sensitive) > select ADD DEVICES. All of the order's devices are added to your account.
Now that your devices are added, the next step is device set up and install.
Receive a wrong Order ID error?
First, verify the Order ID is entered exactly as it appears. It's case sensitive and a Wrong ID Error can be the result of Kio Cloud not recognizing the Order ID as entered.
If this does not work, verify the Order ID was previously used. An Order ID is a one-time use code.
If you continue to receive an error message, submit a request to our support team. They'll help resolve the issue.
