As you're getting ready to start deploying Portal Beams, we've put together the following checklist to guide you through what's needed for a successful deployment.

Create Kio Cloud account and add devices.
If you already have an account that's all you need. When you receive an order from Kontakt.io, you'll need to add the order's devices to your Kio Cloud account.

Set up Kio Cloud Smart Location.
Add the campus, buildings, floors, and rooms where your Kontakt.io devices will be installed.

From the Portal Beam install location, complete the set up and install steps using the Kio Gateway Installer app.

Download from the App Store or Google Play Store.

From your Kio Cloud Smart Location, validate the Portal Beam traffic data.
Important
For Footfall Traffic, a Portal Beam is required to be externally powered; battery power is for backup purposes only. Be sure to have an AC power adapter (110-220VAC to 12VDC power supply, DC jack 5.5mm).
