Instabug is the built-in tool for reporting bugs and issues in Kio mobile apps on both Android and iOS. Reports sent through Instabug include detailed logs and optional attachments, which help the Kontakt.io team quickly investigate and resolve issues.
Note: If you are experiencing an error preventing use of an app feature, the first troubleshooting step is to restart your mobile device — this clears the app memory. If that does not resolve the issue, submit an Instabug report.
Use cases
- Report an error notification or unexpected app behavior.
- Share screen recordings or screenshots of issues for faster troubleshooting.
- Provide logs directly from your mobile app session.
Prerequisites (iOS only)
On iOS, Instabug requires activity tracking to be enabled:
- You'll be prompted to allow this permission when you first install the app.
- If you denied the permission, you can enable it later in your mobile device Settings for Kio Setup Manager (enable Debug mode).
How to report a mobile app issue
-
On the screen where you received an error or observed an issue, swipe two fingers from right to left.
From the reporting menu, tap Report a bug.
-
Follow the on-screen instructions to add a description. Optionally, start a screen recording or take a screenshot.
Tip: Including a screen recording helps our team see exactly what you experienced.
Submit your report (the send arrow).
