This reference describes the comparators you use to define when a policy condition is met, and the units each comparator applies to. Use it when you set up a policy that monitors a measured value, such as battery level, temperature, humidity, or room occupancy.
When a condition monitors a measured value, you choose a comparator and enter a value. Together, the comparator and the value define when the condition is met. For example, a comparator of Below with a value of 20 means the condition is met when the measured value goes below 20.

Where comparators apply
You select a comparator and enter a value for conditions that monitor a measured value. The unit shown next to the value depends on the condition.

Two conditions do not use a comparator or a value:
- Button click (Beacon Signals) monitors a button press, not a measured value. You choose which button to monitor instead of entering a value.
- Enter location and Exit location (Positions) monitor a location event, not a measured value.
