From the Assets Search view, you can quickly locate assets by their real-time location, ensuring you always have access to the right assets at the right time.
The first time you select the Assets Search view, you are prompted to set your campus and building location .
Your location is set from location bar located at the bottom of the map. Once set, your location is saved.
If your working location changes or you need to locate assets in a different campus or building, you can switch locations at anytime.
You can also navigate between the building's floors using the map navigation sidebar located on the right side of the map. In the example below, the building has five floors.
With your location set, the asset list displays assets grouped by type. You can search, apply filters, or select an asset type to find the asset you need.
When you select an asset type from the list, the map updates to display only the assets of that type.

Filter options include:
-
Asset type: Maybe you only want to view one or multiple types of assets.
-
Asset status: This is where you can filter assets by their status.
-
Acquisition type*: Helpful when you're responsible for managing rental equipment. You can quickly view rental assets by their return due date or rental duration.

Once you’ve set a filter, you can copy the URL to save it as a browser favorite or share it with other Asset Tracker users.
