All Opportunities – Knowledge Base

This reference describes the All Opportunities page in Hand Hygiene, where each row is one hand hygiene opportunity and you can filter, sort, and export the underlying data. To open it, go to Management > All Opportunities. The Administrator, User, and Contact tracer roles have access to it.

What the All Opportunities page is for

All Opportunities is the lowest-level view in Hand Hygiene. Use it to investigate specific incidents, audit a staff member's recent activity, confirm a dispenser is being used, or export the raw opportunity data for analysis outside the app.

Page controls

Control	What it does
Time range	Restricts the view to opportunities whose HSO Start Time falls in the range. The range can be up to 92 days long and can start up to 365 days ago, or at the oldest stored opportunity data if that is more recent. Presets longer than 92 days are not offered.
Column selector	Shows or hides optional columns on screen. Staff ID and Total Compl. are always visible and cannot be hidden. It does not change the export.
Export	Downloads every opportunity that matches the time range and column filters as a CSV file. It is unavailable while the table is empty or an export is in progress.

You can show up to 100 rows per page.

When recent data is still arriving

When the newest opportunities for your time range may not all have arrived yet, a note appears with the table:

Opportunities are complete up to a date and time, followed by Newer opportunities may still be arriving. Rows after that time can still change.
Opportunities for the selected period are still being loaded and may be incomplete. None of the range is confirmed complete yet.

Check again later for the final figures.

If the time range can't be used, one of these messages appears:

The selected period is too long. Choose a shorter time range: choose a range of 92 days or less.
The selected period starts before the oldest available opportunity data: choose a later start date.
Your time zone is not supported. Its offset must be a whole number of hours: the time zone set on your computer or browser can't be used for this page.

Columns

The table shows one row per opportunity. Columns can be sorted, and most can be filtered from the column header.

How to read Total Compl.

The score color in the table shows the compliance category at a glance.

Color	Score	Compliance category
Green	100%	Fully Compliant: both wash-in and wash-out completed.
Yellow	Any score between 0 and 100%	Partially Compliant: only one of wash-in or wash-out completed.
Red	0%	Non-Compliant: neither wash-in nor wash-out completed.

A dash (--) in Wash-in At or Wash-out At means no dispense event was credited for that side.

Export

Select Export to download every opportunity that matches the time range and the Location, Dispenser Department, Staff ID, and Staff Department filters. A Preparing your export message shows progress. Keep the page open until the download starts. The message then changes to Export ready. If part of the time range is older than the stored data, Export ready also says that opportunities before that date were not included. If the export fails, Failed to export opportunities appears.

The file is named all_opportunities_dd_MM_yy.csv, with the date of the export. It always has the same columns, in the same order, whatever the column selector shows. The column names are lowercase with underscores, so they differ from the labels on screen. Times include the time zone offset of the campus where the visit took place.

`staff_device_mac`	The MAC address of the staff member's badge.
`staff_name`	The staff member's name, or their Staff ID when no name is set.
`staff_department`	The staff member's home department.
`staff_role`	The staff member's Staff Role.
`room_type`	The Room Type of the visited room.
`visit_start_time`	Date and time the visit started.
`visit_end_time`	Date and time the visit ended.
`visit_room_id`	The visited room's identifier.
`visit_room_name`	The visited room's name.
`visit_floor_id`	The floor's identifier.
`visit_floor_name`	The floor's name.
`visit_building_id`	The building's identifier.
`visit_building_name`	The building's name.
`visit_campus_id`	The campus's identifier.
`visit_campus_name`	The campus's name.
`room_department`	The department of the visited room.
`wash_in_dispenser_name`	The dispenser credited with the wash-in.
`wash_in_time_stamp`	Date and time of the wash-in.
`wash_in_status`	Done, Unfulfilled, or Pending (not scored yet).
`wash_out_time_stamp`	Date and time of the wash-out.
`wash_out_dispenser_name`	The dispenser credited with the wash-out.
`wash_out_status`	Done, Unfulfilled, or Pending (not scored yet).
`valid_wash_in`	Whether a valid wash-in was credited.
`valid_wash_out`	Whether a valid wash-out was credited.
`complete_compliance_score`	The full-compliance score: 100 when both washes were completed.
`overall_compliance_score`	The same score as Total Compl.: 100, 50, or 0.
`zero_compliance_visit`	Whether neither wash was completed.
`opportunity_id`	The opportunity's unique identifier.
