At anytime, you can update the configuration of your Kontakt.io BLE-only Tags and Infrastructure devices from Kio Cloud Device Management. When a configuration update is made a device, it's set to a pending configuration status and must synchronize to receive and download the update.

The BLE to Wi-Fi gateway infrastructure determines how BLE-only devices synchronize to receive configuration updates. Regardless of your infrastructure, pending updates can always be synchronized locally at a device with the Kio Setup Manager app.

From Kio Cloud Device Management, the synchronization status of a device indicates if it has a pending setting update.

From Kio Cloud, go to Device Management 2.0.

From the left menu, select the device category, either Tags or Infrastructure devices.

To quickly locate the devices with a pending update, from the Search & Filter Add Criteria (1) drop-down, select Synchronizing (2) > set the filter to Not Synchronized (3). The list only displays those devices that are required to be synchronized to receive a pending update.

To view the details of the pending update, select a device to view its profile. From the displayed tabs, the tab with the sync icon (2) indicates a pending update.
To view the pending update details, select the tab (2) > from the details, there is a pending setting update notification(1) and the setting update displays the sync icon (3) .
