The Alert History dashboard gives you an at-a-glance view of your device alert history — the volume and severity of alerts, and how they trend over time.
Filter the dashboard
A toolbar at the top filters every metric on the page:
- Alert Rules: limit the view to one or more specific alert rules.
- Location: limit the view to a campus, building, or floor.
- Date Range: set the time period the metrics cover.
Dashboard metrics
Alerts: the total number of alerts for the selected period.
Average number of alerts per day: the daily average of the total number of alerts. Use it to understand the overall volume of alerts and track changes over time.
Average time to acknowledge: the average time it takes for an alert to be acknowledged. Use it to assess response times.
Average alert duration: the average duration of alerts from creation to resolution.
Number of alerts by alert type: the number of alerts for each alert type. Use it to see which alerts are most common.
Alerts by location: the number of alerts by location. Use it to see where alerts are most frequent.
Response time by time of the day: the average response time for alerts during different times of the day.
