A Kontakt.io Sticker Tag, equipped with Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, must be activated before use. Activation is one-time: completed from the Kio Entity Manager mobile app and its battery lifespan begins immediately once activated.

Download the Kio Entity Manager mobile app. If you already have the app, check for updates.
To download the app, go to the App Store or Google Play. Search for Kio Entity Manager.
App requirements: Apple iPhone or iPad: iOS version 16 or later | Android phone or tablet: version 8 or later | Bluetooth enabled (on) | Wi-Fi or cellular data connection

You must be assigned to the Entity Manager Mobile User role.

Be sure the Kontakt.io Order ID is claimed. After the order is claimed, the tags appear in Device Management > Inventory > Tags.

On your mobile device, open the Kio Entity Manager app.

Tap Kio Cloud account.

From the Region, select the location of your organization's Kontakt.io account.
United States: located in North America or Japan-Asia Pacific locations.
United Kingdom: located in the UK, EU, and other European countries.
Do not select Other, unless directed by Kontakt.io.

From Enter Tenant ID, enter your organization's Tenant ID > tap Continue.
Where to find your Tenant ID? You can find it in the URL that you use to sign in from a web browser.
Example: https://[Tenant ID appears here].app.cloud.[region appears here—us, uk, or a custom region].kontakt.io
Note
If you sign in to Kio Cloud from https://app.cloud.[us or uk].kontakt.io, tap I don't have Tenant ID and sign in with your email and password.

Sign in with your user credentials. Use the same method you use when signing in through a web browser. If your account uses SSO, select your SSO provider. Otherwise, sign in with your email and password.

From Select actions, tap Activate Sticker Tag.

Tap Scan with NFC and follow the on-screen instructions.

A Summary is displayed. This information is stored in the Tag's profile in Device Management.

A Success confirmation is displayed.
The Sticker Tag is now activated and broadcasting its data.
