Check your own compliance, your streak, and the rewards you have earned. The app loads your latest numbers each time you open Hand Hygiene, so you can look any time during a shift.
Before you begin
Before you start, make sure the following are complete:
- Kio Nurse Assistant is installed on your iPhone and you are signed in. See Install Kio Nurse Assistant.
- You are assigned the Hand Hygiene User role, and your account is linked to your staff profile. See About Kio Nurse Assistant for Hand Hygiene.
- You have been wearing your Smart Badge. The app reports on badge activity, so a shift without the badge produces no data.
Steps
Open Kio Nurse Assistant.
If the app asks what you would like to do, tap View Hand Hygiene activity.

On the Journey tab, read your compliance:
- Your compliance score for today, with a status of Blazing, On Track, Needs Attention, or Critical.
- Day Streak — consecutive days with a Good Day. A workday without one resets it. The streak counts completed days only, so a Good Day today is added the following day.
- Best — your highest daily score this quarter.
- Good Days this month and Points for the season so far. Good Days starts again from zero on the first of each month.
- Opportunities — the goals you can still work toward.
- Your rank within your department, and how you compare with others in your role: You're ranked #1 in your Role, You performed better than N% of users in your Role, or You're ranked last in your Role — every day counts!
Tap Show more under the 7-day chart to see your full weekly view with your month and quarter averages.
Tap Race to see how your department is placed this season, and what you have contributed. Between seasons, the tab shows New season has not started yet, come back soon.
Tap Rewards to see your Raffle tickets, the next drawing and its prizes, prizes you have won, and your recent earnings. Until you win a prize, the tab shows No rewards so far in place of your prizes.
To see the latest numbers, close the app completely (swipe it away), then open it again. If you hold both roles, you can instead switch to Find nearby tracked assets and back.
To sign out, tap the sign-out icon at the top right of any tab, then tap Log out. If Hand Hygiene User is the only role you hold, this is the only way to sign out.
Result
You know where you stand for the season and what would move it. Nothing you do in the app changes your record — it reports what your badge has already recorded.
If the numbers look wrong

| Everything reads zero | Your badge was not worn during recent shifts |
| "Hand Hygiene Account Error", followed by a technical message | Your staff profile isn't linked to your user account, or its home location has no department or campus. Ask your administrator to check your Unique Ext. ID and staff profile. |
| The numbers look old | Close the app completely (swipe it away) and open it again. If you hold both roles, switch to Find nearby tracked assets and back. |
