Install Kio Nurse Assistant on your phone so you can see your hand hygiene activity, find equipment, or both. Your organization may have installed it for you already.
Before you begin
Before you start, make sure the following are complete:
- You have a supported phone. Kio Nurse Assistant is not designed for tablets.
- iPhone: iOS 18 or later
- Android phone: Android 8 or later
- Your phone has Wi-Fi with internet access.
- You are assigned at least one role in the Kio Nurse (Mobile) section of the Users app. Without one you can install the app but cannot sign in. See About user access to Kio Nurse Assistant.
Steps

Check whether the app is already on your phone. Look for Kio Nurse on your home screen or in your app list.
Note: The app is published as Kio Nurse Assistant, but the icon and the entry in your phone's settings read Kio Nurse.
If it is not installed, open the app store on your phone — App Store on iPhone, Google Play on Android.
Search for
Kio Nurse Assistant.Tap Get on iPhone, or Install on Android.
Open the app once installation finishes.
Result
The app opens on the sign-in screen. Next, sign in to Kio Nurse Assistant.
Keep the app up to date
Install updates when your app store offers them. Screens and labels in these articles describe the current version, so an older install may not match.
