The Dispenser details page is the per-dispenser drill-down view. Open it from Dispensers Management or Dispensers Telemetry by selecting a dispenser. The page shows everything Hand Hygiene knows about a single dispenser: configuration, current status, recent activity, and an activation history log.
Where it is, and who has access
Dispenser details is a child page of Dispensers Management and Dispensers Telemetry. It does not have its own top-level menu entry. Select View Details in the Dispensers Management drill-down or select the Dispenser name in the Dispensers Telemetry list to open it.
The page header includes a link back to wherever you came from, named after that view: Back to Floor, Back to Building, Back to Campus, Back to Your Campuses, or Back to Dispensers Telemetry. If you opened the page from an alert, the link reads Back to Dispensers Management.
Access follows the menu items it opens from. From Dispensers Management, the Administrator, User, Contact tracer, Viewer, and Limited User roles have access to dispenser details. Dispensers Telemetry is under Management, so only the Administrator, User, and Contact tracer roles open it from there.
Two tabs
The page has two tabs:
- Details: configuration and current status of the dispenser.
- Activation History: a timestamped log of the dispense events credited to this dispenser.

Active Alerts
The Active Alerts card appears only when the dispenser has one or more active conditions. It shows the number of alerts, and lists each condition with a plain-language description and a Critical or Warning tag. When nothing is wrong, the card is not shown.
Status values
The Status field on the Dispenser Status card shows one of these values:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Online | The dispenser is reporting normally. |
| Offline | The dispenser is not currently reporting. |
| WARNING or CRITICAL | The dispenser is reporting one or more conditions. The Active Alerts card lists them. |
The Active Alerts card names each condition the dispenser reports. Dispensers with an ES8 or ES10 Dispenser Beacon can also report faults the dispenser itself detects. See Troubleshooting: A dispenser shows an error status.
| Condition | What it means |
|---|---|
| Low Battery | Dispenser Beacon battery level is below 20%. |
| Low Refill | The refill level is below the configured Low Refill Threshold (default 25%). |
| Bad Communication | The dispenser is having communication issues. |
| No Eos Signal | No end-of-sequence signal received from the dispenser. |
| Wrong Distributor Code | Distributor code mismatch detected between Dispenser Beacon and dispenser. |
| Incomplete Dispense | The dispenser did not complete its dispense cycle. |

| Accelerometer Error | An accelerometer error was detected in the dispenser. |
| Invalid Configuration | The dispenser has an invalid configuration. |
| Hardware Error | A hardware error was detected in the dispenser. |
| Battery Issue | A battery issue was detected in the dispenser. |
| Refill Missing | A refill is missing from the dispenser. |
Activation History tab
The Activation History tab is a timestamped log of the dispense events credited to this dispenser, with three columns:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Timestamp | When the activation happened. |
| Type | Whether the activation was counted as Activation (unmatched), Wash-In (matched as the entry-side of an opportunity), or Wash-Out (matched as the exit-side of an opportunity). |
| Staff ID | The staff member whose Smart Badge was credited for the activation. When no staff member was credited, the column shows "--". |
A line under the column headers tells you how complete the log is:
- On the first page, "Activations are complete up to" followed by a date and time, then "Newer activations may still be arriving." If no activations have been loaded yet, the line reads "Activations are still being loaded and may be incomplete."
- On the last page, "Activations are available from" followed by a date. Older activations are not listed here. To see them, generate a Dispenser Activations report in Reports.
You can show 10, 25, 50, or 100 rows per page. If the dispenser has no activations, the tab shows "No activations found".
Use the Activation History tab to investigate a specific dispense event: when did it happen, was it matched to an opportunity, and which staff member was credited.
