The battery-powered Anchor Beacon 2 must be activated for use. If shipped activated, its packaging will include a sticker indicating it has been activated and is ready for use.
To activate the Anchor Beacon 2, pull the yellow battery separator tab on the top side of the device. Once the tab is removed, the device powers on and is ready for use.
