Use Track your device to blink an Anchor Beacon's LED, confirming which physical device corresponds to a device record in Kio Setup Manager. Use this when multiple Anchor Beacons are mounted nearby and you need to confirm a specific unit before installing or troubleshooting it.
Before you begin
- Device Management role assigned in Kio Cloud
- Kio Setup Manager installed and signed in
- Bluetooth enabled on your mobile device
- Within Bluetooth range of the Anchor Beacon (typically within 10 meters)
Steps
- Tap Devices in the bottom navigation bar.
- Locate the Anchor Beacon in My Nearby Devices or search for it in My Devices.
- Tap the device to open its detail view.
- Tap Track your device.
The Anchor Beacon's LED blinks for approximately 10 seconds. Confirm visually that the correct physical device responded before continuing.
What happens next
The LED returns to its normal state after the blink sequence completes. If no LED activity is visible, confirm Bluetooth is enabled and you are within range of the device.
