Identifiers
Three values identify a staff member. Keep them distinct:
- External ID: your identifier for the staff member. One per staff member, required, and unique in your account. This is the value CSV import and integrations match on.
- Tag ID: the identifier of the assigned Smart Badge, from Device Management. A staff member may have one or none.
- Name: the human-readable label. Optional, and not required to be unique — two staff members can share a name, and their External IDs tell them apart.
