You want to remove a staff member but the list has no delete action.
Why there is no delete action
Entity Manager has no delete action on the Staff list. Each row has an Edit action only. This is intended — deleting a staff member removes them from every Kio App that uses them, so the action is kept in Company Settings.
How to remove a staff member
To delete a staff member, an administrator removes them in Company Settings. You need the matching Company Settings role.
If your goal is to take a staff member out of use without removing them, you have two other options in Entity Manager:
- Release their Smart Badge. Open the staff member, select Edit, and reassign the Smart Badge to a different entity. The staff member stays in the list with a tag status of Not Assigned. See Assign or reassign a Smart Badge.
- Change their status. Open the staff member, select Edit, and set their status so they no longer count as active.
