You want to remove an asset but the list has no delete action.
Why there is no delete action
Entity Manager has no delete action on the Assets list. Each row has an Edit action only. This is intended — deleting an asset removes it from every Kio App that uses it, so the action is kept in Company Settings.
How to remove an asset
To delete an asset, an administrator removes it in Company Settings. You need the matching Company Settings role.
If your goal is to take an asset out of use without removing it, you have two other options in Entity Manager:
- Release its tag. Open the asset, select Edit, and reassign the tag to a different entity. The asset stays in the list with a tag status of Not Assigned. See Assign or reassign a tag.
- Change its status. Open the asset, select Edit, and set its status so it no longer counts as active.
