Assign campuses to a Group so every Group member can access data and settings for those locations. Use this when a team of users all need access to the same campus or set of campuses.
Before you start
- Required role: User Management Administrator
- The Group must already exist. See Create a Group.
- Campus assignments can only be made to Managed groups. SSO group campus access is managed in your identity provider.
Steps
- From the Kontakt.io Launchpad, open Users.
- From the side menu, select Groups.
- Select the Group you want to configure.
- In the Campuses section, select Edit.
- Select Add Campus.
- Choose a campus from the dropdown.
- Repeat steps 5-6 for each campus you want to assign. Each campus can be added only once.
- Select Save.
All current and future Group members can now access the assigned campuses.
Notes
- Campus access assigned at the Group level applies to every member automatically.
- Groups use explicit campus lists only. Unlike per-user campus assignment, a Group has no Allow access to all campuses option.
- To remove a campus, select Edit, select the remove icon next to the campus row, then select Save.
- If a user belongs to multiple Groups, their campus access is the combined set of all campuses assigned across all their Groups. Access is never reduced by Group membership — if any Group grants access to a campus, the user can access it.
- Removing a campus from a Group removes that access from members who inherited it from this Group only. Members who have that campus assigned directly on their user account are not affected.
