A user is someone that requires access to your organization's Kio Cloud account and the activated Kio Apps. User access and permissions is managed by their assigned role within each of the apps.

You must be assigned to the User Management Administrator role.

Each role consists of a set of permissions. For example, an app Administrator role has full permissions to all features, while other roles have restricted permissions.

A user can be assigned to one or multiple roles within a single app.

If a user is not assigned a role within an app, the app is not displayed on their Kontakt.io Launchpad.

From your Kontakt.io Launchpad, select Users.

From the upper-right corner, select Add User.

Enter their user-specific settings:
First Name, Last Name, Email
Unique Ext. ID: A secondary unique identifier. This ID is used by specific Kio Apps and recommended to be provided. For example, it may be their unique employee ID within your HR management system.
Sign-in method two options:
Password (default value): Select when your organization's Kio Cloud account is not integrated with Single sign-on (SSO). Users are required to sign in with their email and password.
SSO_RA: Select when your organization's Kio Cloud account is integrated with Single sign-on (SSO). The user will sign in and authenticate with their SSO credentials.

Once complete, select Add User.
A user set with the Password sign-in method receives an activation email to set their password.

To assign their app roles, from the list of users > select their Name.

From the Kio Apps section, assign their roles to the apps they require access to.
The apps available are only those activated in your organization's Kio Cloud account.
When a user is not assigned to a role within an app, the app is not available to them from their Kontakt.io Launchpad.

When done, select Save.
The roles assigned to a user grants their access and permissions to the apps activated in your organization's account. If a user does not have a role assigned within an app, the app is not displayed on their Kontakt.io Launchpad.

From your Kontakt.io Launchpad, select Users.

From the user list, locate and select their Name .Their user profile is displayed.

From the Roles for Apps section, select Edit.

From each of the apps they require access to, select a role. To unassign a role to an app, deselect the role.

Once complete, select Save.
To update a user's name or Unique Ext ID, complete the below steps. If you need to update their email address, submit a request to our support team.
This feature controls a user's sign-in access. Disabling a user effectively suspends their access without permanently removing their user profile.

From your Kontakt.io Launchpad, select Users.

From the user list, locate and select their Name .Their user profile is displayed.

From the user enabled toggle located in the upper-right corner, slide the toggle to the left to disable the user (red) or slide the toggle to the right to enable the user (green).
This action permanently removes their user profile. All Kio Apps historical data associated to their user profile is retained.
This action generates an automated email to the user with instructions to reset their password.
