When you receive a Kontakt.io order, the Order ID is required to be claimed within your organization's Kio Cloud account. Once claimed, the order's devices are added to the account and can be deployed and installed. Each Order ID can only be claimed once, by one account.

To claim an order, you must be assigned to the Device Management Administrator or Inventory Manager role. Learn more about roles.

You'll need the Kontakt.io Order ID provided on the Quick Start Guide included in the order packaging. The Order ID is also provided in the order confirmation emails.
If you receive a “wrong order ID” error:

Make sure the order ID is entered exactly as shown. It’s case sensitive and must include all characters.

Confirm the order hasn’t already been claimed—an Order ID is a one-time use code. Go to Device Management, open the Tags or Infrastructure menu, and check whether the devices and Order ID are listed.
