You can generate a one-time report directly from the Rooms list in the Monitoring view, such as an environmental record for a set of monitored spaces or readings for the rooms named in an inspection. This is the fastest path when the right Rooms are already filtered or selected.
Before you begin
- You are signed in with a role that can create reports: Administrator, System Manager, Facilities Manager, or User. Department-level access limits the list to your assigned department.
- The Rooms appear in Temperature Monitoring, which means a Monitor is installed for each.
Steps
- From the Kontakt.io Launchpad, open Temperature Monitoring.
- Select Monitoring, then open the Rooms tab.
- Use the filters and the row checkboxes to select the Rooms you want in the report. The Generate report action stays disabled until you select at least one.
- Select the Actions menu, then Generate report.
- In the report dialog, choose the report type and the time range, then generate the report.
Result
The report is generated, emailed to you, and available in the Reports view, where you can download it. For example, the environmental log report covers a Room's ambient temperature and humidity over the period you chose.
