Room matching assigns a room type to each physical room on your floor plans. It is what lets Asset Tracker apply room-type status rules and color rooms by type—an IV Pump only becomes "Down" in a Soiled Utility room if that room has been matched to the Soiled Utility room type. Room matching is shared across Kio Apps and surfaces in Asset Tracker's Settings > Room Matching.
What you can do in Asset Tracker
Room Matching is view-only in Asset Tracker. You can see which room type each room is matched to, but you cannot change the matching here.
What is managed in Company Settings
Matching rooms to room types—and editing or removing those matches—is managed in Company Settings → Room Management. See Match rooms to room types.
Why it is view-only
Room matching defines the location model that every Kio App relies on. To keep it consistent across apps, matching is managed once in Company Settings rather than separately in each app.
