In Entity Manager, the Assets page lists every asset in your account. Use search, filters, and column choices to narrow the list to the assets you need.
Before you begin
- You have the Asset Manager role. See About user access to Entity Manager.
Search
- From the Kontakt.io Launchpad, select Entity Manager.
- Go to Assets.
- In the search box, enter any part of an asset's ID, name, setting, or Tag ID.
The list updates as you type and shows only matching assets. The settings column changes to Matched Settings so you can see which value matched your search.
Filter by column
- Select the filter icon in the column header you want to filter by.
- Choose the values to include. You can filter by:
- Asset Type
- Groups: group membership
- Status: the asset's current status or sub-state
- Tag Status: for example, Online, Lost, Deactivated, or Not Assigned
- ID or Name: a value the column contains
The list shows only the assets that match every filter you apply.
Choose which columns to show
- Select Choose Column.
- Select the columns to show or hide.
Your column choices are saved for the next time you open the page.
Clear filters
Select Clear Filters to reset the search box and all column filters and return to the full list.
Result
The list shows the assets that match your search and filters. From here you can open an asset to view or edit it, or select Create Asset to add a new one. For a full list of columns and what each filter does, see Asset list columns and filters.
