This reference defines the alert status values and the detail fields shown on each alert in Asset Tracker.
Status values
| Status |
Meaning |
| New |
The Alert Rule's condition was met and notifications were sent. The alert is in the active list and has had no response yet. |
| Acknowledged |
A user selected Acknowledge to show they're taking action. The alert stays in the active list. |
| Resolved |
A user selected Resolve to close the alert. It moves to alert history. |
Alert detail fields

| Severity |
The level set on the Alert Rule: Critical, High, Medium, Low, or Info. |
| Status |
The current status: New, Acknowledged, or Resolved. |
| Duration |
Total time from when the alert triggered to when it was resolved. |
| Opened |
Date and time the alert triggered—when the rule's condition was met. |
| Assigned to |
The user associated with the alert. |
| Affected Location |
The asset's last known location when the alert triggered. |
| Rule Condition |
The condition that triggered the alert (for example, an asset enters or exits a location, or a PAR Level reaches a Warning or Critical level). |
| Resolution Code |
The code selected when the alert was resolved, if one was chosen. |
| Note |
Optional notes added during resolution. |
| Alert Rule |
The name of the rule that triggered the alert. |
| Alert Type |
The alert type set on the rule: Location or PAR Level. |
| Asset |
The asset involved, including its 12-character MAC address. |
