Install Kio Setup Manager on your mobile device before beginning any device installation or configuration task. The app requires your Kio Cloud credentials to sign in.
Before you begin
- iOS or Android mobile device meeting the minimum requirements:
- iPhone or iPad: iOS 17 or later
- Android phone or tablet: Android 8 or later
- Bluetooth enabled on your mobile device
- An internet connection through Wi-Fi or cellular data
Steps
iOS (iPhone or iPad):
- Open the App Store.
- Search for Kio Setup Manager.
- Tap Get to download and install the app.
Android:
- Open Google Play.
- Search for Kio Setup Manager.
- Tap Install.
All platforms — after installation:
- Open Kio Setup Manager.
- When prompted, grant the following permissions:
- Bluetooth — required to discover and communicate with nearby devices
- Location — required for Bluetooth device ranging and location assignment
- Camera — required to scan device QR codes
Note: If you dismiss a permission prompt, you can enable it later in your mobile device's Settings app under Kio Setup Manager > Permissions. The app cannot discover nearby devices without Bluetooth and Location permissions.
What happens next
Kio Setup Manager is installed and ready to use. Open the app and sign in. See Sign in to Kio Setup Manager.
