Use search and filters to narrow the device list when working in a large deployment or when you need to find devices with specific characteristics — pending firmware updates, low battery, or a particular device type.
Before you begin
- Signed in to Kio Setup Manager
Search by Unique ID or MAC address
- Tap Devices in the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap the Search field at the top of the device list.
- Type part or all of the device's Unique ID or MAC address.
- Tap the device in the results to open its detail view.
Filter the device list
The options available will vary for Nearby Devices or My Devices.
- Tap Devices in the bottom navigation bar.
- From the top menu, tap the Filter icon.
- Select one or more filter criteria:
- Device type or model
- Battery level range
- Pending operations (firmware update available, configuration pending)
- Order ID
- Deployment Status
- Profile or packet type (Nearby tab only)
- RSSI signal strength range (Nearby tab only)
- Tap Apply.
The device list updates to show only devices matching your selected filters.
Sort the device list
- Tap Devices in the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap the Sort icon.
- Select a sort option.
- Tap Apply.
Note: RSSI sorting is only available in the Nearby Devices tab and reflects how close each device is to your mobile device. Devices with a higher RSSI value are physically closer.
What happens next
Tap any device in the filtered or sorted list to open its detail view. Tap Clear filters to return to the full unfiltered list.
