The Track Device tool in the Kio Setup Manager helps you locate a nearby device based on your proximity to it. The tool uses the device’s Bluetooth signal strength (RSSI) to help you find it.

Locate a misplaced device (Tag, Badge, Beam, Beacon, Portal Light). For example, a Tag shows "Lost" in a Kio App or a Portal Light has an "Offline" status and is not located in its assigned room.

Verify that a device is physically present in a room.

Assist in device replacement or troubleshooting.

The app shows a signal strength indicator that updates in real time.

As you move closer to the device, the RSSI value indicates a stronger signal.

Use the signal feedback to narrow down the device’s location.
Signal examples (approximate):

-60 dBm → Nearby

-75 dBm → Moderate distance

-90 dBm → Far away / weak signal
