Two Asset Tracker improvements give administrators more control over how the app behaves and how analytics are grouped.
New Settings › Configuration page
Asset Tracker adds a Configuration page under Settings, available to the Administrator role. It sets display behaviors that apply to everyone in your organization:
- Color rooms by room type on the map — tints each room on the asset-search map by its room type, so staff recognize a floor's layout at a glance.
- Pre-select all assets on page load — opens the asset-search view with every asset already selected. With it off, users start with nothing selected and choose what to display.
Analytics grouping — "Analytics by"
The Advanced analytics views (PAR Level, Rental, and Utilization) now include an Analytics by selector that groups the view by Asset Type or Campus. Analytics group by Asset Type by default; switch to Campus to compare across sites.
What to do
No action is required. To adjust the new settings, open Settings > Configuration in Asset Tracker (Administrator role), turn the display options on or off, and save. For analytics, use the Analytics by selector at the top of any Advanced analytics view.
