Sign in to Kio Staff Safe Alerts

Sign in to Kio Staff Safe Alerts with the same Kio Cloud credentials you use in a web browser.

Before you begin

  • Kio Staff Safe Alerts is installed on your device. See Install Kio Staff Safe Alerts.
  • Your Kio Cloud user profile has the Staff Safe Mobile User role, plus one of Administrator, User, or Alerts User to acknowledge and resolve alerts. See About user access to Kio Staff Safe Alerts mobile app.
  • You know your organization's Tenant ID. Your Tenant ID is the part of your Kio Cloud URL before .app.cloud. For example, in https://acmehealth.app.cloud.us.kontakt.io, the Tenant ID is acmehealth.

Sign in

  1. On your home screen, tap Kio Alerts on iPhone or iPad, or Kio Staff Safe on Android.

  2. On the Sign in to Kio Cloud screen, tap Kio Cloud Account.

  3. Choose the region of your organization's Kio Cloud account.

    • United States: for organizations in North America or the Japan–Asia Pacific region.
    • United Kingdom: for organizations in the UK, EU, or other European countries.
    • Custom Region: only choose this if Kontakt.io instructs you to.

  4. Enter your organization's Tenant ID, then tap Continue.

  5. Sign in with the same method you use to sign in to Kio Cloud from a web browser.

    • If your organization uses Single Sign-On (SSO), tap the SSO option shown and enter your credentials.
    • Otherwise, enter your email address and password.

After you sign in, the app opens the alert list.

On iPhone and iPad, if this is your first sign-in after installing, iOS prompts you to allow notifications. Tap Allow to receive push notifications when a new alert is triggered. For more information, see Push notifications in Kio Staff Safe Alerts mobile app.

The Android app does not use push notifications. Alerts appear in the app while it is open, so keep Kio Staff Safe Alerts open and on screen during a shift.

Note: If your roles allow only view-only access, you can see alerts but can't acknowledge or resolve them. Contact your User Management Administrator to confirm your role assignments.
