Topics include:
-
The Kio Cloud platform is suite of cloud-based apps.
It serves as the central hub where administrators manage Kontakt.io IoT devices, user access, and mapped indoor locations, and provides access to the Kio solution-based apps such as the Kio Asset Tracker.
-
Kontakt.io Tags are assigned and attached to each tracked asset (mobile medical equipment).
These Tags continuously broadcast their location data over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) wireless technology and their data is then received by some type of BLE to Wi-Fi Infrastructure device.
-
BLE to WiFi Infrastructure devices are installed in rooms and corridors. They receive and send Kontakt.io tag location data to the Kio Cloud platform over their connection to the local Wi-Fi network.
Your organization may also have Kontakt.io Beam Minis - resulting in 100% room-level certainty of tracked assets.
-
The real-time location of each tracked asset can be viewed from Kio Asset Tracker app - allowing you to quickly locate the right asset at the right time.
Kio Cloud is a cloud-based platform accessible through a web browser. Your organization's Kio Cloud administrator will provide you with the specific URL for signing in. Your access and permissions to the Kio Cloud suite of apps is determined by your assigned app roles, which is managed by those assigned to the Users app Administrator role.
