A one-time report is generated once for the Storage Units, Rooms, or Monitors and the period you choose. A one-time report is best for investigations, incidents, or when preparing for an audit.
Before you begin
- You are signed in with a role that can generate reports: Administrator, System Manager, Facilities Manager, or User. Department-level roles can report only on their assigned department.
- You know what you want to report on (Storage Units, Rooms, Monitors), the report type, and time range you need. See Report types.
Steps
- From the Kontakt.io Launchpad, open Temperature Monitoring.
- Select Reports.
- Select Generate Report. The Choose a report mode dialog opens.
- Choose One-Time Report, then continue.
- On How would you like to start?, choose Start with Report Type or Start with Entities. Both paths reach the same setup; your choice only sets the order of the next two steps.
- Choose the report type and the entities to include (Storage Units, Rooms, or Monitors), in the order set by your choice in the previous step.
- Set the time range, within the limits for that report type.
- Add recipients. The finished report is always emailed to you; add any other email addresses that should also receive it. Recipients don't have to be Kio Cloud users.
- Review the summary, then select Generate Report.
- Wait for the report to finish generating. Its status changes to Download when the file is ready.
Result
The report appears in the Reports History tab with a status of Download. Select it to save the PDF, and the report stays in the list so you can download it again later. It is also emailed to you and to any recipients you added.
Note: Detailed reports cover a focused window, around 30 days. To document a longer period, generate a Summary report or several detailed reports.
