A report profile defines a recurring report including the report type, the Storage Units, Rooms, and Monitors it covers, its schedule, and its recipients. Manage profiles to keep recurring reports accurate, especially to add Storage Units or Rooms you installed after the profile was created.
Before you begin
- You are signed in with a role that can create reports: Administrator, System Manager, or Facilities Manager.
View profiles
- From the Kontakt.io Launchpad, open Temperature Monitoring.
- Select Reports.
- Open the report profiles list. Each profile shows its name, report type, schedule, and when it next generates.
Edit a profile
- Select the profile you want to change.
- Update its coverage, the schedule, or the recipients.
- Select Save.
Adding a Storage Unit or Room to a profile is the step that keeps a recurring report complete. Because a profile captures its Storage Units, Rooms, and Monitors at creation, a Storage Unit or Room you installed later is reported only after you add it here.
Duplicate, deactivate, or delete a profile
A profile's actions menu has:
- Edit: change the profile's coverage, schedule, or recipients.
- Duplicate: create a copy of the profile, opened ready for you to adjust and save as a new profile.
- Deactivate Schedule: stop automatic generation while keeping the profile and its past reports. The profile's status changes to Inactive. Use Activate Schedule to resume. This action appears only for a profile that has a schedule.
- Delete: remove the profile. Past reports it already generated remain available to download.
To produce a report on demand without waiting for the schedule, open the profile and select Generate now, a button on the profile (not an item in the actions menu).
Result
Your report profiles reflect the Storage Units, Rooms, and Monitors and schedules currently in use, so each recurring report covers the right ones.
