This reference lists the time range options available when you generate a report or set up a recurring report profile, and when to use each. The right choice depends on whether the report is generated once or on a schedule.
Relative ranges
A relative range adjusts each time the report generates, which makes it the right choice for recurring profiles. The "Last full" options use complete calendar periods with clean start and end boundaries.

Tip: For a recurring profile, choose a Last full option rather than a rolling range. A monthly profile set to Last full month covers the entire prior calendar month each time it generates, with no overlapping or missing days.
Specific dates
Specific dates are available for one-time reports only. Enter an explicit start and end.

Note: If the end time is in the future, the report includes all data available at the moment it is generated.
Use specific dates for incident investigations and inspection requests that call for an exact window, such as a single excursion event or an inspector-specified range.
Calibration report
A Calibration report has no time range. It always documents the current calibration status of the selected Monitors at the moment it is generated, so the time range field does not appear when you choose that report type.
