A black background is normal operation; a red background is an active alarm or excursion on the current sensor. The top bar shows the current sensor (Ambient, Probe 1, or Probe 2), battery level, time, and device state, and shows PAUSED when monitoring is paused.

Audible alarm
The Temp Monitor Pro sounds an audible alarm during an excursion or hardware error. Press the Center button to snooze it; the alert stays active and only the sound stops, resuming when the snooze ends or a new alarm condition occurs. Acknowledging the alert in Temperature Monitoring also silences the audible alarm. Silencing on the device does not acknowledge the cloud alert; the alert stays New in Temperature Monitoring until someone acknowledges it there.
Probe ports
The Temp Monitor Pro has two ports, Probe 1 and Probe 2. Each takes one probe and can be assigned to a separate Storage Unit, so one Monitor can serve two Storage Units. To monitor one Storage Unit, connect the probe to Probe 1 and leave Probe 2 unused.
Installation notes
- Mount the Monitor outside the Storage Unit, with probe cables routed through a door gasket or dedicated port.
- Do not route cables where a door can pinch or cut them.
- Put the Monitor in Paused mode before repositioning a probe, to avoid triggering a false alert.
- Assign a Threshold Setting during installation in Kio Setup Manager; update it later in Temperature Monitoring.
