Sign in to Kio Setup Manager (Temperature Monitoring)

Before you can install or manage Monitors, sign in to the Kio Setup Manager mobile app. The first time you sign in, or after reinstalling the app, you complete all the steps below. After a successful sign-in, the app remembers your Sign In Method and Region, so next time you only open the app.

Before you begin

  • The Kio Setup Manager mobile app is installed on your mobile device.
  • Bluetooth is turned on.
  • Your mobile device has an internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular).
  • You have a Temperature Monitoring role, plus the platform-specific Kio Setup Manager installer role (see Temperature Monitoring user roles):
    • iOS: Device Management Temp Monitor Installer
    • Android: Setup Manager (mobile) Temp Monitor Installer
  • You know your organization's Kio Cloud Region and, for a Tenant account, your Tenant ID.

Tip: Make sure Kio Setup Manager is updated to the latest version. Check for updates in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

Steps

  1. From your mobile device, open Kio Setup Manager.
  2. For Sign In Method, tap Kio Cloud Account.
    • Use another method only if the Kontakt.io team directs you: Cisco Spaces Account (for Portal Beams integrated with Cisco Spaces) or Sign in with Kontakt.io QR code.
  3. For Region, tap your organization's location: United States or United Kingdom.
    • United States covers North America and Japan-Asia Pacific; United Kingdom covers the UK, EU, and other European countries.
    • Tap Custom Region only if the Kontakt.io team directs you.
  4. Enter your Tenant ID, then tap Continue.
    • Your Tenant ID comes from your organization's unique Kio Cloud sign-in URL: https://[Tenant ID].app.cloud.[us or uk].kontakt.io.
    • If your organization signs in without a Tenant ID, from https://app.cloud.us.kontakt.io or https://app.cloud.uk.kontakt.io, tap I don't have a Tenant ID instead.
  5. Sign in with your Kio Cloud credentials: SSO, or your email and password.

Result

You are signed in to Kio Setup Manager, and the app remembers your Sign In Method and Region for next time. You can now scan for and manage Monitors.
