An alert incident report is a PDF record of a single resolved alert. Download it when you need a standalone record of how a specific alert was detected and handled, for your files or for an auditor. It is available from the alert's details once the alert is resolved.
What the report includes
The alert incident report summarizes one alert on a single page:
| Section | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Location | The campus, building, floor, and room where the alert occurred. |
| Source | The Storage Unit or Room that was monitored, with its ID. |
| Unique ID | The Monitor that reported the condition. |
| Date | When the alert was triggered, including the time zone. |
| Duration | How long the condition lasted before it was resolved. |
| Severity | The severity assigned to the alert. |
| Status | The alert's final status (Resolved). |
| Corrective Action | The corrective action recorded when the alert was resolved. |
| Incident summary | A short narrative of what happened, and a contact for more information. |
Before you begin
- You are signed in to Temperature Monitoring.
- The alert is Resolved. The Report button is unavailable until the alert is resolved.
- You have a role that can view alerts for that location.
Steps
- From the Kontakt.io Launchpad, open Temperature Monitoring.
- Select Alerts.
- Open the resolved alert you need from the alert history.
- Select Report.
- Save the PDF to your records.
Result
The PDF is saved to your computer's download location. Use it as the documented record of how that alert was detected and handled. It stays available from the alert in alert history, so you can download it again.
Note: The alert incident report is the standard alert record used across the Kontakt.io platform, so it documents the incident itself, not temperature or humidity readings. For the readings around an excursion, or records across many Storage Units and Rooms, use Temperature Monitoring Reports. See About reports.
