A calibration certificate is the NIST-traceable record of a probe's or Monitor's calibration. Download it when an auditor or your facility's procedures require proof that a sensor's readings are calibrated. Calibration certificates are available from the Temperature Monitoring web app.
Before you begin
- You are signed in to Temperature Monitoring with a role that can view device details for the location.
- The Monitor or probe is installed and reporting.
Steps
- From the Kontakt.io Launchpad, open Temperature Monitoring.
- Select Devices to open the Monitors view.
- Select the Monitor whose certificate you need.
- Open the device details and find the calibration certificate for the Monitor or for a specific probe.
- Download the certificate PDF.
- Save or print it for your records.
Result
The certificate PDF is saved to your device. It includes the device's Unique ID, the sensor serial number, the calibration date, the measurement results with their uncertainty, and the ISO 17025 conformance statement.
Note: The certificate shows the current calibration. Calibration certificates are typically valid for three years. Download and retain the certificate at each calibration event to keep your own record over time, and replace a probe whose calibration has expired.
