Hand Hygiene is a web app you open from the Kontakt.io Launchpad, the home screen for all your Kio Apps. Learn how to sign in, what opens first, and where each part of the app is, so you can find what you need on your first visit.

What opens first
Most roles open on the Compliance Analytics page. The Nurse role opens on Team Dashboard, because that is the only page it has access to.
The Hand Hygiene menu
The navigation menu has six items for day-to-day work, and two groups, Management and Settings, that expand to show more. You see only the items your role has access to.
| Menu item | What it is for |
|---|---|

| Dispensers Management | Opens the Your Campuses page: the status of every dispenser, by campus, on a map or in a list. See Dispensers Management. |
| Alerts | Opens the Alerts List: the alerts Hand Hygiene has sent, such as a dispenser at its refill level, and where they are acknowledged and resolved. See About alerts. |
| Contact Tracing | Who was in a room during a time window, and where they went next. See About Contact Tracing. |

If a menu item described here does not appear for you, your role does not include it. Contact your organization's User Management Administrator.

Installing Dispenser Beacons, room sensors, and gateways happens on-site in the Kio Setup Manager mobile app, not in the web app.
